Momentum is a two-year business accelerator for growth-minded Houston founders. It is built for owners generating roughly $250,000 to $1,000,000 in gross revenue who are ready to push past the $1M mark and are done trying to figure everything out alone. If you are ready to commit to the deep work, and you are based in or able to travel to Houston, this is for you.

To help you break through the operational ceilings that keep owners stuck in day-to-day firefighting, and to build the team, systems, and confidence to scale past seven figures. A core goal is to graduate you to $1M+ in revenue and into Entrepreneurs' Organization Houston, the EO chapter for business owners running companies above $1M. Fewer than 5% of businesses ever reach that level, and Momentum is built to get you there with a business that can sustain long-term growth.

It runs like a structured, collaborative accelerator, closer to an MBA-style class than a seminar. You prepare ahead of each session with assigned readings and reviews, then apply the tools directly to your real business between sessions. Year 1 focuses on foundational structures, processes, and leadership. In Year 2 you keep your Forum group and monthly coaching and go through the curriculum again with a new lens, alongside participating EO members, applying the scaling steps to a much more mature business and refining everything you built.

You can stay in Momentum for the full two years, or join EO Houston sooner if you qualify and continue the program from there. After two years, remaining in Momentum for one extra year is contingent on traction in your business and a realistic path to joining EO Houston. Either way, participants come out of the program much stronger, with stronger profits, growth, and momentum.

Classes meet in person once a month over an 8-month curriculum, typically on the second Tuesday of the month from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, culminating in a graduation celebration. Your Forum group continues meeting monthly year-round, independent of the class calendar.

Sessions are hosted across Houston. Core meetings use dedicated spaces at The Ion, and select sessions take place at local corporate offices to give you direct exposure to a range of businesses and operating environments.

Your business should have gross revenue between $250,000 and $1,000,000 for the most recent fiscal year. Revenue is documented through a program verification form as part of the application.

By the end of Year 1 you will have built a fully customized Operating Manual for your company. It maps your core processes, organizational values, financial dashboards, and accountability structures, so you leave with a real system to run and scale the business, not just notes.

• Month 5, Marketing: Position, Story, Amplify: write a real positioning statement and find your differentiators.
• Month 6, Right People, Right Seats: architect a role the right way before you ever review a resume.
• Month 7, Finance Day: The Founder's Financial Playbook: calculate your Cash Conversion Cycle and pick the KPIs that actually matter.
• Month 8, Financing Your Growth: Debt vs. Equity: figure out what fits your business and draft a fundable capital ask.

No. Momentum draws on the best proven entrepreneurial operating and financial frameworks, but it is not a reading list. The value is in facilitated application, expert instruction, peer accountability, and a manual built specifically for your company. You are not reading about other people's businesses, you are building the systems for yours alongside a committed cohort of Houston founders.

No. Momentum and EO Houston operate under a strict non-solicitation policy. This is not a networking or lead-generation group, and members do not pitch, sell, or market services to one another or to the chapter. The group runs on EO's Gestalt experience-sharing protocol, where members speak only from their own personal experience rather than giving advice. That keeps the room a safe, honest place to work through real challenges, and it is what helps members reach the top 5%, the businesses that cross $1M in revenue.

Admission is selective and the cohort is limited. Every applicant completes an application and a personal interview, so we can make sure Momentum is the right fit for you and for the group. It is a two-way decision, not just yours.
